We are looking for an Accounting & Tax Manager to join our team in Berlin. The role is focused on working closely with other stakeholders across the business and the team and on contributing to accounting and tax related processes and projects. YOUR MISSION: * Processing of tax reporting and filings * Managing general ledger bookkeeping in accordance to HGB * Managing accounts payable related accounting processes and projects * Managing fixed asset related accounting processes * Processing of monthly reporting packages and other compliance requirements * Supporting the processing of annual financial statements * Collaboration with other functions and teams on accounting matters/projects, acting as a proactive business partner * As a motivated member of the team, you are keen to make a difference in many ways. Following the onboarding phase you will be trained to take on ownership of processes and tasks which will provide you with the opportunity to make things your own, driving them to the next level of excellence
* 5+ years of experience in Accounting/Auditing and/or Tax consultancy ("Steuerfachangestellter", "Bilanzbuchhalter") * Strong interpersonal and communication skills * Being comfortable working in a fast-paced and ambitious work environment in which colleagues are measured by outputs and not formalities * Solid knowledge of Accounting principles (IFRS, HGB), German tax laws (direct, wage and corporate taxes), Excel, ERP systems
